Amid the rocks and boulders in Mars stands what appears to be a grand pyramid, similar in structure to the great pyramids of Egypt – but is it for real? If it is real, is this proof that there is or has been a civilization on the Red Planet?
Keen-eyed UFO seekers, Paranormal Crucible, did not make the photos themselves but used screenshots from videos released by NASA from the unmanned Curiosity Rover space vehicle. So, in a way, this new ‘discovery’ is legitimate.
With the shape of the pyramid on Mars similar to those found on Earth, is man really close to finding life on the Red planet? Certainly, the ‘discover’ leads to a lot of questions, instead of answers, as people are wont to ask just how huge does this pyramid appear for it to be similar to those on our planet. After all, there is a high likelihood that this one was just small – perhaps as small as the ordinary rocks we see on Earth.
Of course, the Paranormal Crucible has an explanation to that: the pyramid we see on the surface is believed to be just the tip of a grandiose one buried underneath the Martian soil. Well, unless they actually give actual proof that there was a large pyramid underground, this claim is quite dubious.
Most scientists do not agree with these people, however, saying that there are no indications whatsoever that this object was a pyramid made by a civilization, especially because there are other similar objects of different sizes and shapes scattered nearby.
It is highly likely that this pyramid is merely a rock formation that has been coincidentally shaped similarly to the great pyramids of Egypt.

It is also quite likely that we can see such objects on Mars not just because of the winds that shape the planet but also because our minds just might be associating these images with objects that we already know. This is called pareidolia, defined by Express as “a psychological phenomenon when the eye is tricked by the brain into seeing faces, animal shapes and other recognizable objects in patterns, rock formations and clouds.”
